My Philosophy on Art
Lori Hope Zeller
With a texture, art can move the eye and yet it has the ability to move the soul. My work is meant to bring the viewer into an emotional swirl to question containment yet scream with expression. My mediums: Mixed Media, Pumice on Canvas, Acrylic, Collage, Graphite and Water Colors.
The following artists have been a source of inspiration: Jackson Pollack, Sam Frances, Joan Mitchell, Hans Hoffman, Alberto Burri, Gustavo Ramos Ramirez and Lianghong Feng and Squeak Carnwath.

“Love + Tolerance = Change” was accepted in the Waging Peace exhibit at the FSU Museum of Fine Arts. The work was created in response to the Paris Bombings in 2015.
“Golden Moments” was included in the published edition of “Art Students League of New York on Painting: Lessons and Meditations on Mediums, Styles, and Methods” Watson-Guptill: New York, NY -p.211
